So, some of you might already know that I’m a music teacher (these days on drums). I’ve got a highly autistic girl in my class and had to switch her from group lessons to single lessons. She does not go well with other people, but dear Lord, she picks up stuff super quickly.
Since she’s been on 1:1 lessons, she progresses so fast and hard. I recently introduced her to this:

Even I struggle with that song and I’m one of the best drummers in a radius of 150 km around here. John Otto is so underrated and talented. This little girl I’m teaching? She picks it up like it’s nothing. Like: Damnnnnnnn! The ghost notes in that song go hard.
My favourite comment on that song is this: Man you got into the big shoes of Mr. Otto and delivered it perfectly!
