Garlic salt, pepper, and paprika seasoned pepper jack cheeseburgers with mustard and barbecue sauce on toasted bagel buns.
This is an old photo, from 2018, but it is also one of the best photos I have ever taken of something I cooked. I spent a few days making the burger patties ahead of time and grilling them for lunch. The photo was to share with my coworkers to make them jealous because I lived close enough to work where I could actually cook a decent meal.
I’m currently sorting my backlog of photos, 12 years worth, and tagging them all for easier searching. When I came across this, I wanted to share.

Bagel buns are such an underrated choice for burgers! The density holds up way better to juicy patties than regular buns that get all soggy. I’ve been using everything bagels as burger buns and the extra seasoing takes it to another level.
