Man, fuck everything about thia. Obviously fuck Dougie for letting this sort of shit happen, in the first place. But also wtf was happening in triage where they’re monitoring this kids oxygen levels drop and they can’t get him priority status. I don’t know how it’s supposed to work, but it’s surely not supposed to go like this.
It’s also kinda crazy that they didn’t pack up and drive 30m to downtown TO where there would have been much better emergency services. Did triage string them along? It’s absolutely baffling.
I wish Ford would be held personally liable for this absolutely avoidable death.

So sad in a country as wealthy as this, that this can happen.
I hope the lawsuit is successful, and they learn they need to provide the healthcare services to the people. It would not be an easy fix for sure, but I don’t see anyone really trying to change it, just more lies and BS to let American style healthcare into the country.
The crisis in healthcare has been known to be coming right along with the baby boomers increase in age, and it has only gotten worse. There has been no real plans on fixing the system because they don’t want it fixed.
People are going to emerge when it isn’t needed because they have no family docs, and real triage doesn’t seem to happen, tell people to go home if they shouldn’t be there, setup more 24 7 clinics, train and hire people to stay in their community.
