Why do they exclusively only cancel good shows (Mindhunter, Inside Job, now this) and keep up actual garbage?? I don’t think Netflix has made a wise business decision ever, the only reason they’re successful is because they were the first. They’re lucky Blockbuster didn’t buy them.
I’ve read that they cancel most shows after two seasons because season 3 is usually when the cast renegotiates their salary and they’re too cheap to pay them what their worth.
I didn’t sound like that was the issue, Fincher didn’t want to work on TV anymore. Also why it appears Mindhunter is returning as films instead of another season.

Maybe garbage shows are cheaper to produce, or get better viewers-per-dollar-spent measurements?

Mindhunter wasn’t canceled initially, David Fincher put it on hiatus himself
I personally think they should have given him a blank check to get him back, everyone has a price

I know but everyone has a price. Are the mindhunter films definitely happening?
Tbh they do also cancel low-rated shows too. You just don’t care when they do.
