The production cost of Star Citizen has now surpassed that of multiple triple-A titles combined, including the likes of GTA 5 and Cyberpunk 2077.

    But even that was like 5+ years ago, ancient history by software dev standards. It’s hardly an excuse for the state it’s in today.
