The modern Westerner feels a need to ascribe exclusively negative traits to any perceived enemy.

You’d think it only applies to moral traits, but if you think someone is bad, they are incapable of being diligent, brave, clever, funny, a good driver, handy with excel, or even punctual. It’s so tiring.
