I just did a quick and dirty mix in FFmpeg from the command line; the fact it didn’t turn out worse is just pure luck.
So, that reminded me of a scene from “The Informers” (Writer Bret Easton Ellis of Less Than Zero/American Psycho/Rules of Attraction fame) where that song plays at a young man’s funeral at the behest of his heartbroken mother. Just as unexpected and out of place.
