Saskatoon has 2 working historic theaters, but neither are quite as old as what’s mentioned here(Broadway Theatre was built in the mid 40s and Roxy was opened in the 30s). I think it would be fantastic to revive more of those old theaters. They are beautiful additions to community.

    THE PRINCESS THEATRE!

AH, I used to pass by that one all the time when I lived up in Edmonton! Would pass by it after work on my way to Remedy Cafe on the end of the block there. That thing is in dire need of occupancy, I’ve only ever seen it open when the Deadmonton House used it as a venue for Halloween, other than that it’s always been dead in my time frequenting downtown.

Would be incredible if people got that thing up and running again, definitely would help with the nightlife of that part of Jasper Ave.

EDIT: Oop, was thinking of the Paramount, not the Princess, my bad. Regardless would be great seeing the additional activity on both Jasper and Whyte.
