As most of Komoot’s backend is based on OSM data anyway, maybe this is a chance for a new FOSS app to take over the lead. :) Is anyone aware of such a service / app already?
For navigation OSMand (FOSS) is a great alternative and I also really like GPX Viewer Pro (ont-time payment and closed source). But for planning I mostly used Komoot so far.
Just stumbled across this post. I use https://www.routeyou.com/. It’s Belgian and I get it free with my newspaper subscription. Quite similar to Komoot, but it will take some getting used to.
