The only way the US could stop Yemen from interfering with trade is to deploy boots on the ground to a country with the second most civilian gun ownership in the world. There is no point in guessing who’s number one. Doing a bombing campaign will accomplish nothing since the Saudis have been doing it since 2014 and any invasion would redirect efforts from aiding Isntreal, Ukraine and Taiwan. Besides most trade is going to Europe through the Suez and America is more than fine to sacrifice its vassals
