It’s the “General’s Plan”. It was offered up by one of the nastier IDF generals early on in the year, and now they’re carrying it out.

Edit: meant to add that when this general floated the idea back after oct 7, it seemed unreal and impossible to imagine as real, but now it’s obviously very real.
