Germany doesn’t have broad protection from discrimination for any marginalized group, let alone queer people who aren’t even constitutionally protected. Our anti-discimination law only exists in the first place due to EU rulings, is extremely lacking compared to other EU members and the liberals have spent the last 3 years blocking a reform that would actually make it a credible threat to bigots.
Yeah this map isn’t as good as the other one, because you have to actually explain how the “law against discrimination” or whatever each country is classified as, usually isn’t actually protecting lgbtq people
Unlike our constitution, our anti-discrimination law actually protects queer people, but the burden of proof that you’ve been discriminated is high enough to be useless most of the time and the damn thing isn’t even applicable when you’ve been discriminated by government institutions.
Speaking of Cuba, isn’t Israel also one of the few countries alongside US that consistently votes against lifting the blockade on Cuba? I guess going by their logic US and Israel hates gays.
