We’ve automated your job, but don’t worry.

Even though my party won’t even raise minimum wage, and groceries, rent, and health insurance for your family currently leaves you just barely making it pay to pay check while working full time, (and we love to tell you this is your own fault because you didn’t tighten your belt/pull yourself up by your boot straps, so stop asking for handouts) you’ll be very well compensated with a UBI that covers bus fare too and from the plasma bank.

Btw we’re cutting funding for public transportation, but I don’t know anyone who uses that shit anyway. You should just buy an ugly car that looks like a dumpster fucked the DeLorean from back to the future. It only costs as much as some people’s houses.

He’s right because money will worthless when the planet is ruined and work will be optional because there’s nothing left to buy or no consumers left.

Yet he opposes the mechanisms that would facilitate this, namely a wealth tax and Universal Basic Income (UBI).

Yes, technology - when democratized - can lead to better lives for people. When It is only capitalized, it tends to do the opposite.
