Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005) is the only true sequel. The Dwayne Johnson ones are garbage.
The 1st Dwayne one was actually fairly decent. But I dont really consider it a sequel so much as a soft reboot, but either way - Zathura rocked and really did feel like a sequel.
I feel like I would normally agree with you, but I actually really enjoyed the first Dwayne Johnson one. And I grew up on the Chris Van Allsburg children’s books.
