    Oh boy I can’t wait to read the appeal result in a few weeks where the supreme court just comes out and says that’s its ok because it’s the will of the majority of the state or something.

      They won’t say anything, just overturn the result. They aren’t even pretending to rule based on reason and law anymore.

        I guess it doesn’t matter if something is gerrymandered or not, then.

        If they won’t follow laws, why should we?

      Usually what happens is they don’t do it by election time, the federal judge doesn’t order anything, the election happens with the gerrymandered map, then the courts say “well that was illegal and you shouldn’t have done it, but the election already happened so we can’t do anything”. And then it all happens again next time.
