    For reference, this is how Japan commemorated the 80th anniversary. As much as I place blame on the US for unnecessary escalation and nuclear bombs killing hundreds of thousands of civilians when Japan was ready to surrender, Japan doesn’t really get to criticize how China celebrates when the agriculture minister goes to the war criminal shrine

    You know moments like this and the whole war criminal shrine thing (unironically should be heavily bombed into a crater and if Japan gets into a shooting war with China I hope they take the time to launch an oreshnik level conventional explosive strike on that thing to make the Japanese fascists seethe) and the revisionist history schoolbooks make me want to say certain things about nuclear weapons and deserving but getting for the wrong reasons by the wrong parties (who themselves assuredly deserve the same).
