Hello everyone, this is a deck that took heavy inspiration from the Food and Fellowship precon. I believe that it is very resilient and has a heavy amount of boardwipes, protection, and alternate win-cons with a decent amount of politics.

I have been working on this deck for a long time and am excited to get some more eyes on it. The goals for this deck are to compete with the pupstomper decks that are technically not cedh but have an unfair advantage against most decks. So far it has done very well for me and the use of detailed tags has helped me deck build.

This looks like a fun deck ! Did you already get to try it against your playgroup ?

From what I can tell by looking at the list, it feels like the deck might run smoother with more lifegain sources and/or more ramp. Most of the lifegain comes from food tokens, and those cost mana, so you might want more ramp (to be able to use the food tokens AND develop your board) or more free lifegain sources.

Also some cards seem a little out of place at first glance. I don’t see how Viscera Seer or Lord of Extinction for example fit into the deck’s strategy, both can be good card but I don’t how they synergize with what the rest of the deck is doing.

I have tried it and seems to do well with the politics cards added and more lifegain creatures. Food is very clunky and weird to use so I usually just have them and can use for lifegain in emergencies.

I can definitely swap out Lord of Extinction, he is just a late game threat and Viscera Seer is for an infinite combo with Cauldron Familiar and Samwise Gamgee.

As for some swap outs, I have a ton of things I keep changing around in my considering, but I like the Ocelot pride for cheap token doubling and life gain, profane memento for easy lifegain, and triangle of war to force combat with my first strike and lifelink creatures.

About triangle of war, first strike does not apply to fight effects, it’s only relevant during the combat phase
