unemployment rate ticked up slightly to 4.2%, but it remains historically low
yea that’s not going to last. ik official unemployment rate is flawed, but even then, Trump self-inflicted a massive shock to the economy.
seriously what kind of reporting is this, last month the tarriff shock was not fully known or in effect? why the fuck would it have impacted hiring before it actually happened?
Monthly numbers are inaccurate, with some monthly numbers in recent history reporting 500% more jobs than were actually created.
Cool, are these actual positions or are they short-term contract roles?
Also how many of them were “fired everyone to rehire new people for cheaper” kind of roles
hiring surged
Could have fooled me. WHERE?!?!?
so one person now has to work 5 jobs in order to make a living?
