Good to know, I edited the title thank you!

Oddly enough the stroke turning him zionist is not a unique phenomenon. A friend who works at a local hospital reports the same thing happened to their department head. Used to be a well-liked extremely empathetic lady, had a stroke, boom turbo-zionist right as the Gaza genocide started kicking off in earnest. Not saying all zionism is due to brain damage but it certainly seems to help!

contrary to his portrayal in the movie we’ve all seen this guy is not really very thoughtful and runs his mouth about a lot of things

I’ve decided to stop selling shovels to this gold rush and use all my shovels to rush for gold myself. This is going to work out great!

It’s good rhetoric. Game it out:
Option 1, he says this; nobody can actually say they’re against equal rights for all citizens, so zionists revert to repeating & emphasizing the phrase “israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state” and sound like complete fucking psychopaths on the precipice of voicing recognizable white supremacist rhetoric
Option 2, he says something like “no, israel does not have a right to exist” to which there are numerous responses such as “then why does Palestine have a right to exist”, to which probably people here would make an argument on the basis of indigeneity, but zionists have their own well-funded competing claim to indigeneity, and then you’re dragged into tedious historical arguments about things that happened thousands of years ago that nobody really gives a fuck about.
Making any sort of argument based on the validity of indigenous ethnostates is shaky ground at the best of times, especially for leftists who largely aren’t sympathetic to nationalism (let alone ethnonationalism), at most viewing it as a useful unifying force to kick out foreign colonizers after which point it becomes a reactionary tool of the domestic ruling class.

Parents fed me so much of this stuff as a kid. I can still taste it when I look at the photo.
