👆 Love this sentence, no notes.
Love Nick, have been watching their videos for years, one of the best resources for Inkscape tutorials!

Ohhh, this does find the Vanilla OS video by The Linux Experiment which regular Peertube did not find yesterday. Thanks for this!

Personally I pay for https://metager.org/ , they don’t have their own index (something the EU with their open index will hopefully solve in the future) but apart from their image search being completely shite I have no complaints.
Lol, I was just about to comment the exact same thing 😸
Yeah, aren’t they more of a big (micro) plastic (producing) fan?

(Not the electronic parrot or the people relying in the slop machine.)

Who would have thonk!
I find this somehow comical, no idea why.

Haven’t watched the vid because I can’t atm.
But Olvid, the Whatsapp alternative has AGPl clients but proprietary server code. Not good. Maybe go with Matrix or Threema?
Monnett, the social media app seems to be closed source, so even likelier to become enshittificated like Twitter than Bluesky.
I don’t see why you’d ever go with something closed source if FOSS exists. Because that at least you could just fork if you really need to not have ties to the US or whatever. I’d choose Signal over a proprietary European chat app any day.
Oooof, it’s like feeding ice cream to dogs, that’s just unhealthy, they can’t even brush their teeth to get the sugar off.

I’ve tried learning git a few times and new a bit about it but this article helped me understanding it quite a bit better:

The practical bits are about Github which you obviously don’t want to use but you can still get the gist of it when using Codeberg or something similar.

Ha, this demonstrates another thing I think is very weird, that line in the background that almost lines up with the lines of their shoes / trousers. An artist would either make them line up (weird) or move the line in the background up or down, so they are distinct lines.
“Only in theaters” always seems really desperate to me …
