Wizards of the Coast has issued their first response to our announcement of unionization.
I am glad that they agree that workers are the lifeblood of the company, however it is important to note that we tried and failed to raise our voices for years about this stuff and were unheard.

Have to imagine the pace has only gotten worse with how many sets are released each year now.
I have always wondered about how the art relationships work. Assuming that would be on contract outside of any union, and there are so many cards to work on!
Card art is done entirely freelance with the exception of a small set of concept artists/directors/graphic designers they have on staff IIRC
