I’m new to MTG, so I’m still getting used to the specifics of the exact wording on the cards. So I was wondering if this combination would work. Melira has Creatures you control can’t have -1/-1 counters placed on them. Are creatures that enter with -1/-1 tokens also considered placed? Or does Melira only prevent additional tokens?

Yes, this is why Melira combos with Persist as well
