Looks more like a house of cards
It was designed to control the sunlight coming and was meant to remain cool even in harsh sunlight and vice-versa during winters.
how can you post this but not the shadows it makes
I think the shadows fall on the windows. Like OP mentions above, the shadows are to control heat buildup in the building.
